Do you run that box blade on fairly level ground or hilly ground?

I think that he is talking about a rear blade. Can't say as that I have ever even heard of a 3pt 9' box blade. I too would like to see some pictures.

Its a rear blade, a Leon same as this:
Let me tell you, without the loader on, the front tires would be up in the air. Its got tilt, angle and offset and the weight makes it cut like a small dozer. There is a plate to add a gauge wheel for road grading but I'm going to use it for a bit first. I just bought a electric splitter valve to get all the functions running off the one remote.
BTW the normal tractor for it is my 5455, 100 hp, 6 tons or so.

Very similar to my Land Pride RB45108. 6 tons is about as small as you want and be able to get pretty much full use out of that blade. The tractor that I use my blade on weighs just over 6 tons and with the blade offset & pulling much of a load, it can get you side ways.

I run an all hydraulic Land Pride 8' on a Kubota Grand L4330 with no problem...if you want to ditch and get max offset, then I would go bigger than just covering rear wheels ...even with a 30" offset on mine, I sometimes wish for more width.
Heavy is good (as long as your 3ph can lift and, I would say, that is the limiting factor, not HP)... one can always counterweight the front. Two things I have found invaluable: (1) cushion valve on the angle hydraulics; and, (2) a hydraulic tail wheel.
Note,however, that with full hyd and T&T I use all my 6 remotes.
