Just realized I never put a pic of the finished product. I think it turned out pretty darn good.

Got the WiFi all hooked up in the shop last night too. Works awesome, completely plug and play. I had all the cat 5 cable ran and the extenders mounted and a friend came over and put ends on for me, powered up and I had WiFi.

I have a Wyze V2 camera coming to install tomorrow. $25 off of Amazon and it will do EVERYTHING I need. We have one in the house now on the dogs kennel (I’m not sure why all he does is sleep) and I just now realized it will record and has motion sense on it. It should be here tomorrow so hopefully I can get it up and going.

Def worth the $25 I paid. It was up and going in less than 5 minutes!

IR night vision is pretty good as well!

Those Wyze cameras are pretty great. We just added nests to our rental property due to management requests. That said the nest platform is amazing but the cost is staggering. Love those little wyze cameras. Wish they made an outdoor version.

Stole the wife’s laptop that she never uses and going to turn it into the shop computer for Jeep parts shopping and ordering. Problem is she hasn’t used it in over a year, and she didn’t keep it updated! My ADD won’t let me use it until EVERY update on EVERY program is updated.
I may never be able to use it.
