Quick work. Nice barn.

I'm having trouble with some of the attached pics as well.

Curious about how it worked to have out of state contractor. I would think it would add to the cost. Did they stay on site with a travel trailer or motel or what?

Thanks all - Pictures should be fixed now. It must have been a forum problem, I had to re-load them.

The contractors went to a motel each night. It's a fixed cost based on the building you purchase. There was a fuel surcharge given the distance they drive. It's not cheap, but good quality work rarely is.... The way I see it, I paid for professionals to come in and get it done and that's what I received.

What's the grey stuff at bottom of posts?

It's called "Grade Guard" on DIY's site. It slips over the end of the post and is exposed just above grade and goes down about 2 to 3 feet below grade. I suppose the thought is most of the moisture is near the surface which is where rot will be most likely to begin.

Looks awesome! I'm having CHA build a 20x20x10 with board & batten wood siding and asphalt roof. Scheduled for May, and looking forward to it. Their price was very reasonable. If they can knock out your barn in 4 days, I bet they can do mine in 1-2.
