I ordered a CCM tiller yesterday (& a landscape rake, too), so that the good folks at CCI can cut the PTO to the correct length & ship everything I need the measurement from the base/stub of the rear PTO drive to the midpoint of the centerline of the lower draft links mounting point - draft links must be level in the horizontal position & at a 26" spread.
I took delivery of the 4110 in December, the BH was attached & I'm just realizing the dealer didn't leave the 3pt hardware or the ballast box! I must've been too excited to notice. I've had no reason to remove the BH until now & I can't connect with the dealer until Saturday...any help would be great!

Thanks much, -Norm

I measured my 4010 this afternoon. It should be the same as the 4110. It was 21 3/4" from the end of the PTO to the mid point of the drawbar between the lift arms with the drawbar near horizontal. The drawbar is 26" wide.

Hello,

Don' knowt if you still need some measurements, I took the following on my 4110.

From the end of the PTO shaft on the 4110 to the end of the lift arms I had 22.5"

I also measured the two PTO shaft I use:

Tiller (Bhuller Farm King 60") PTO shaft
Fully expanded = 32"
Fully retracted = 26"
Tiller side of the PTO shaft = 15.5" (attached to a slip clutch)
Tractor side of the PTO shaft = 20"

Snow Blower (Pronovost Puma 54") PTO shaft
When attached to the tractor = 33"
When fully retracted = 29.5"

I also took a few photos and will post them following this post!

This one shows the end of the PTO Shaft that connects to the tractor... It uses a sliding "bucle" Not sure if this is the exact term, but it seems to be more heavy duty than the pin used on the Snow Blower Shaft.

Gosh, Hypernix, that was very kind and useful of you to take the time post such a thorough answer to the question, and to take the photos.

Thanks for posting.

Wow, thanks a bunch Hypernix! Way beyond the call of duty. This is my first foray into the world of the PTO and 3pt attachments, I have a learning curve in front of me - the pics will be a great reference when the tiller arrives. The manual(s) are a little thin in this section.

I went to my dealer yesterday, he didn't have any 4x10's on the lot to measure. As you can imagine, when I told him what I needed the measurements for he wasn't in a hurry to 'go the extra mile' and make phone calls to help me install gear he didn't sell. In this case, cash trumped color: I got the tiller and rake (delivered) for less than the JD tiller alone. He wasn't willing to negotiate on the JD tilller last week, after all, it's spring and tillers are in demand. After hearing I bought another color his prices intstantly became "flexible". So, now I'm getting a box blade, iMatch & rear bagger from him at better prices than he gave me the week before!

Thanks again for all of your measurements and photos! -Norm
