4110 parking brake \'false positive\'
I'll try to describe this as best I can...when I engage the parking brake - engine running, hst in neutral - the brake lever feels like it 'clicks' into the locked position; there's an audible and tactile feel to it. After several cases of hearing the ominous 'click' of it popping out of the lock position I've found that I have to lift the parking lever past the first 'click' into a second 'click' position. It takes a fairly good pull to reach this 2nd position, I'm afraid of snapping the plastic lever. Obviously, this is very disturbing because I'm not always on level ground and don't always have ground-engaging attachments to help keep the tractor in place - it's a little un-nerving to see the machine - engine still running - slowly rolling across the yard.
Any other 4110 owners experience this? Any quick fix or adjustment you know of? It's definitely going back to the dealer but wondering if there's anything I can do today.
Thanks much, -Norm
