4110 ROPS height?

About to get a new 4110 with normal size R4's and was wondering what the height to the point where ROPS fold was? Would like to put it in the garage and knowing the dimensions(can't find these particulars on JD website) would help. Otherwise will have to get busy on pole barn or the likes! Thanks for help!

before you build a barn measure to bottom of header on garage door, if its tall enough romove old garage door and install double doors that open to the side like saloon doors, like on a barn. i did that and my tractor fits, clears by about 1/2 inch, and its a 00 series mahindra so its a full size ag tractor. by the way this is without folding down the rops.

That measurement was one thing that swung me to buy a 4010 instead of a 2210 or B7510. The 4010 was 77 or 78" with turf tires. The 2210 was 1" higher. B7510 had folding ROPS much higher.

I've a regular garage door in the main deck of the carriage house. It fits there AFTER I adjusted the fitting on the door opener to the upper 2 bolt holes. Even then, I had to move the handle up because it would bump it but push by it. Down below, which is where I keep it now, I have those double doors that swing on hinges inside. It clears there by a couple inches.

on my 4115, i have to fold the rops down, then there is plenty of room to put the tractor in the barn. we have 6 ft doors. i would say the fold point is at about the 4ft mark. i never really measured, though. if you can walk into the barn, the tractor will fit with the rops folded. i think it is close to 7ft with the rops up.

Interesting thing.....
I just (yesterday) swapped out a 2210 for a 4110. The 2210 was driven out of the garage just fine, but on the way in the 4110 hit (just barely) the underside of the completely raised garage door. 2210 had R4s, the 4110 came delivered (but not ordered) with turfs.

Just went out and measured my 4110 (2003). 84.5" when in use-- 66" when folded.

With the aforementioned turfs, height to the fold is 65.0. When extended, 83 5/8s. My door clearance (to the remaining un-dented panels) is 83 1/2.

I forgot to say i'm running loaded R4's. That must be the difference.

Mine go into the basement of the carriage house, the section with those double doors. I put my LX4 down on castors, which make it MUCH easier to put on and to take off and to roll away to the side.

Got my soil ripper stuff, drawbar, 2 shredders, freezer and growing rack all in there, with cabanas in the 2 inlet corners to each side of the double doors. Some leftover cabinets are in there, too.

What about the 4110 ROPS height for a fixed (non-folding) ROPS with turf tires? I'm probably going to buy a 4110 this week, but this is something I really need to find out. I know it will be tight getting it under my garage door opening. Dealer couldn't tell me the height and didn't have one in stock.

I believe (not absolutely sure) that RaphVA's numbers are for the fixed ROPS-----no doubt that the folding 4110 ROPS in the up position is higher than a 2210's fixed.

I think RalphVA was talking about a 4010 and I'm looking at a 4110...

Is a 4010 and 4110 ROPS height the same? It would be great if they are because that would leave me a couple of inches clearance.

Of course, they don't specificify what style of ROPS is being measured. Guess we know for sure the folding model is taller----or at least it is now. Good luck.

My 4110, with R4 tires at max pressure, folding ROPS, is exactly 84 3/4 inches from the floor.
