My switch will not start engine. Machine will start with screw driver across starter. I'll run. But can't shut off engine. Power take off start button doesn't engage PT. Ignition Key had been a screw driver for 12-14 yrs. The nut holding switch vibrated off and fell in. I fished it out & secured by vice grippe to check to see if still functioning. All wires connected. Then everything quit working. All fuses are not burnt and OK. Once started with screw driver still can't start PT> A new ignition switch seems to be what I need.

As I remember 4110 has 3 key switches. My tractor is first generation of 4110. It's the one that had front and rear tires not matched from factory, to right circumference.
Does anyone know where I can get a key switch that might be right match? I ordered one from Mahindra dealer and dealer indicated COVID has interfered with getting all parts from overseas? Do U all agree it's key switch or did I miss something about PT. Thus, can limp by with grips till get ignition ??

I have no way of knowing if it's your ignition switch or not but it sounds as though your ignition switch has been toast for many years and you just found work arounds for it. I don't know what positions for functions your switch has but I suspect any ignition switch can be made to work. The problem may be some have a plug connector on the back while others have screw terminals. More information would help.

NAPA sounds like a plan. I have tried my local Mac Truck dealer. Yrs ago had a Bob Cat and they matched it up. Couldn't match Mahindra. Called my Mahindra dealer yesterday checking on my order. They said "Waiting for 102 orders for parts back order." Aint that something. I'm sure can rig something. I have a service manual but haven't checked wiring diagram yet. That model had 3 different ignition switch. My 2002 is first generation. Things much easier if can just plug in a new one. NAPA does have oil filters listed for Mahindra. I will check it out.

Thank you all for ideas.......BE SAFE.......Coffeeman
