Hi All,
Been reading all these threads for hours on end... and i love this site!
I recently purchased a JD 4115 with r4 tires, 200x fel and 62d mmm. I am looking to buy a box blade for it. I was pretty sure a 60" would be right for this tractor from all the threads I read.... til I ran across one thread that the 4 or 5 people in the discussion all where talking that a 48" box blade would be too taxing on a tractor my size. so, tho I have learned alot from reading these threads, reading this one has pretty much put me back on square one.
What would really help me here is people with a 4115 [or comparable] telling me of their experiences with their box blades. What size and brands they like... hinged or fixed....etc.
The soil type here is some clay, a few stones, and some of that really nice black dirt that makes for a great garden. [sorry, I'm not a Farmer, so I don't know what all the soils are called] Any help would be greatly appreciated.
