Thanks for the input. Turns out my wife would only authorize the 420 anyway. The 4310 with 420 loader, 5' cutter and 5.5' box blade was delivered yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, I was sad to see some damage on the loader. The person delivering it had hooked a chain to the box blade and attached this to the loader, over the bucket and down to the round part across the bottom area of the bucket. I noticed the metal hydraulic lines that run across the crossmember of the loader appeared to have been bent and dented. Appearently, he had initially wrapped the chain around this crossmember, until he realized he damaged the lines. Of course when I pointed it out to him, he said they were fine like that, since they didn't leak. The decals on both sides of the loader were scratched to the point they couldn't be read. Also, two of the four plugs used to cap the hydraulic couplers when the loader is removed were broken loose and dangling. He told me to "just get some colored tape, so you don't get the lines hooked up wrong". He was telling me I should check the wheel bolts after about fifty hours. I told him I read in the manual they should be checked after the first hour and every four hours thereafter until they don't work loose. He told me I shouldn't have to worry about that. "I put them on with an impact wrench and got them as tight as I could". Now I'm scared. My wife, who bought this for me for my birthday, called the dealer and insisted on a new loader. So, I will be getting another new loader. I know this is a tractor but this goes way beyond having a few scratches. Time will tell if they take care of this correctly.
