I got our 425 crankcase cover off to replace the gasket but I did not notice how one thing was, when I took it off.

There is a arm ( first picture - it is to the left of the top gear) that goes down in the crankcase and I think it attaches somehow, to the one gear that has 2 things on it (second picture - the top gear sorry I just don't know the name of the thing) but I am not sure how it goes.

If anyone can help me out with this problem, it would be great - or if someone has directions on how to reinstall the cover that you could post on here.
Thanks for any help.

Is this a continuation of the other thread you started about the coolant leak?

I have a John Deere 425 that is leaking coolant and it seems to be the same problem that you had experienced. I can't find the entire thread with the replies that you received to fix the problem. Could you please get me the entire thread? Thank you.
