One of these day's i'll take a picture of a before and after on some of the blackberries around here. They make yours look like seedlings. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif But seriously i have a 422 and i cut up and down our lane (1000') to keep the berries from chokeing off the road and isolating the neighborhood from civilization. Just before the 4th of July, i cut paths through the brambles for the kids to play in. It hadn't been cleared in four years and was a solid mass of berries 15' high and the little 422 just mowed them down and made a nice surface for the trails. )</font>

Those were seedlings. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif That area was totally clear down to the dirt about 1 year to 18 months before that picture was taken.

I know just what you're talking about with them choking off the lane, I deal with the same thing on our ~600 foot gravel driveway. It was 12' wide when it was put in 5 years ago, before getting the 7510 it was down to just barely wider than the mirrors on my Suburban. It sounds like the PT would work just fine for clearning out those areas here too.

The blackberry paths sounds like fun, about like the corn mazes some farmers setup around here around Halloween.

Is that a Pontiac lemans in the background? If it is you should have moved it over just a little to give a better look at it.

Good eye! You are correct, that is a 1968 LeMans.

Here is a small picture I took of it about 6 or 7 years ago shortly after I bought it. Currently it sits a bit taller than that, it still had the original springs and some very worn shocks and was sitting very low. Replacing them with stock springs and new shocks lifted it 2.5". Unfortunately since having kids I haven't had the time (or money) to do much with it, eventually I'll get back to ti...or maybe my son will. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Boy that LeMans sure looks in great shape!! That looks like a nice project. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think there is an inverse relation ship between kids and time, or money for that matter, but after having gone thru it, i would'nt trade it for anything.

The blackberry paths had an unexpected benefit in that picking the berrys was very easy. Most of the berrys were in easy reach right out in front of you. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

It brought back a memory of my first new car and boy would it run for a street car. I have a 67 lemans now it sneaked into my power trac garrage while I was gone to visit my son now I'll work on my power trac a while and look over at the lemans and go over and work on it a while. The lemans was a gift from my nephew needs a lot of work but sits good no sag in the doors but it will be a long long project. For someone thinking about getting a power trac when I said that I was working on my pt I didn't mean that I had problems with it I meant I was just doing normal maitenance on it .
