One of these day's i'll take a picture of a before and after on some of the blackberries around here. They make yours look like seedlings. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif But seriously i have a 422 and i cut up and down our lane (1000') to keep the berries from chokeing off the road and isolating the neighborhood from civilization. Just before the 4th of July, i cut paths through the brambles for the kids to play in. It hadn't been cleared in four years and was a solid mass of berries 15' high and the little 422 just mowed them down and made a nice surface for the trails. )</font>
Those were seedlings. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif That area was totally clear down to the dirt about 1 year to 18 months before that picture was taken.
I know just what you're talking about with them choking off the lane, I deal with the same thing on our ~600 foot gravel driveway. It was 12' wide when it was put in 5 years ago, before getting the 7510 it was down to just barely wider than the mirrors on my Suburban. It sounds like the PT would work just fine for clearning out those areas here too.
The blackberry paths sounds like fun, about like the corn mazes some farmers setup around here around Halloween.
