4320 vs 3720????

Does your dealer actually have any new 4x20 series tractors on his lot?

Mine has 5 new 3x20 series and zero 4x20 series. It has been this way for the last year. Guess which one he tried to sell me?

If you must have a MMM, I have heard that the 3000 series has a nicer setup than the 4000 series. I think a RFM makes more sense with 2 acres of grass and the rest rough cut. Actually, as someone else mentioned, a zero turn for the grass and a 4000 series with R1 tires for the rest is a great option. If you are stuck on one machine then you are also stuck with R4 tires which will not allow you to get close to your tractor's traction potential.

I have a 3320 with a rotary cutter and finish mower, however, I also have an X-Mark zero turn mower that cuts way better and faster than any tractor mounted equipment. I use the tractor for the heavier mowing around roads, ditches and field edges, then use the zero turn for the yards where I want it too look good and where I have to cut around a lot of obstacles.

I have had a 4310...not enough HP but the right size tractor, a 4710 (48HP) the right power, but to big to move around in the horse barn, and now am trading for a 3720...which I hope will be just right!!

Has anyone purchased the larger R4 tires for the 3x20 series? I've had the Turf tires on the previous two as most of the time I am mowing side ditches or pasture. The dealer is trying to talk me into the new style R4's, but I want them as big as possible for mowing.
