4320 with water in oil

My dad's 4320 ag tractor is getting water in the oil. Not a lot but It is there. It is a 1972 I believe. Are there any places to start looking? Something that is very common problem with this tractor?

Also, does this have sleeved cylinders that may have a leaking o ring?

How hard is it to replace the o rings on the sleeves? Or the wet sleeve if needed?

I have pulled the sleeves on a couple of smaller John Deeres in the last few months. On my sleeves there are two o-rings per sleeve. The sleeves on both engines had some pitting and corrosion on the sleeve at the upper o-ring. If water is getting past the o-rings I'll be surprised if the sleeves are serviceable. I think odds are that you will want/need to replace the sleeves.

Ditto on possible engine piston liner failure but engine oil cooler or possibly head gasket could be leaking. One can remove engine oil pan then pressurize cooling system to check for liner/o-ring leakage. Has engine coolant been changed regularly or had PH monitored?

No. Has had neither done.

A failed engine oil cooler is less common to occur and far more likely to put engine oil into the cooling system than vice-versa.

WET sleeves as someone else mentioned. I did my 74 2630 about 5 years ago. Back then the new sleeves pistons bearing and gaskets was around 800 bucks.
