4410, 990, 4120, 4320, 4520, 4720...Which One?

Just curious I guess! It seems that you are pondering the 4410 vs. the 4320. Big difference in machines there Hp wise, seeing the 4410 is 35 hp while the 4320 in 48 hp. Have you considered the middle man there in the 4120, it appears to be some $2000 and change cheaper and still puts out 43ish Hp. Personally I have a little more than 2 acres of meadow I generally keep 8" or less with my 4310 and lx5. At a good clip I knock it down in usually around an hour, with only 3 trees to dodge. I guess I could get away with a 6' but I feel the 5' is a better fit as I don't have much to cut and is better matches with my pto hp. Brother in law has the 4120 with power reverser and runs a woods 6' hog roughly equivelent to the mx6. Does it with ease and cuts around 10 acres. That's my 12 cents wirth. Happy cutting!!!

Sounds like it's going to be nice machine for you, congrats.

Careful getting too wrapped up in the spec numbers, especially if they're published by Deere. Much as I like green - they're notorious for typos in their literature. Example - the 4710 is rated at 48.1 hp @ 2600 rpm. That translates to 97.2 ft-lbs. torque at rated speed. The 4320 is also rated at 48.1 hp but @ 2400 rpm for 105 ft.-lbs. It's a simple formula, but Deere's published numbers hp/torque have never quite added up, so either the published hp or the published torque numbers (or both) are often off a bit.

In ANY case - plenty of power - and I think you're going to like your green machine. One option I'd suggest before you take delivery - look at the extendable draft links (and/or a quick hitch). I've found the links to be VERY helpful wrestling my MX6 off and on since I don't have a pool-table flat area to work with.

I bought the I-Match to aid in hooking up to the cutter and any other attachments that I will end up with and love it.
the machine is very well sized for your application.
