My Ford had a coil of heat wire that served as a glowplug indicator that burned in half.
I reconnected the half that remained, and it has worked fine ever since.
I don't know if your tractor has a similar indicator wired in series with the glowplugs, but it is worth looking at.

Sorry for the late response, been using starting fluid so far. No luck with the glow plugs. I found a bad connection on the line in coming from the battery, but that wasn't my issue. I am starting to lean towards having an issue with the ignition switch. The light that used to come on the dash to indicate 'Glow', no longer lights. It is quite cold right now, but it is something that I have to get into sooner rather than later.
