John Deere 4520 Compact
I have a Deere 4520 Compact, about 2007 or so model year, about 300 hours on it. Recently, after sitting a few weeks without use, it isn't running right, or at all. If I can get it to fire up, it runs a few seconds, then blue smoke starts coming out of the exhaust and it dies. When you crank again, it billows out smoke, but won't fire. I'm guessing that I might have a stuck injector. Can anyone confirm that this might be the correct diagnosis? If so, I read somewhere that it is about a 40-hour job to replace these injectors - does anyone know if that's correct? Is there an on-line service manual for these? Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.

There is no way it would take that long to replace injectors.
