A few methods....
1. you can try a bottle jack from the bow up to the top lip of the bucket. But that would likely bow the top. So you need a heavier piece of steel, like 4x4 tubing, or a i-beam across the top to spread out the load.
2. Another option is try to lift something un-movable with just the center of the bucket to force the bow back out.

Save me from reading back through, did you ever say how it got bowed?? or was it like that when you got it??

Its odd that it bowed up and not down:confused3:
If you get it straightened out, you need a toothbar for sure. Makes digging easier, and the added bar adds strength.

No there is not. The metal has stretched. I first bowed mine up on the tree and when I tried to straighten it out on the same tree, I just bowed it down, where it has been since. Manufacturers of tooth bars say they can not fit a tooth bar to fit a bent cutting edge. It just bothers me a little while backdragging and no other time.

Anyone getting a bucket for their tractor, I recommend they get a piece of square tubing welded across the top if at all possible. When I bought ours used, the local dealer added one across the top of ours and I've used it to push stuff over, lift in telephone poles and all sorts of lifting/pushing jobs and that tubing has kept the top edge nice and straight with the added strength. If I ever upgrade or buy another, I plan on doing the same.

My bucket bent down about a inch. Mahindra set me a new heavy duty bucket, all I had to do was pay the shipping. I got a tooth bar put on the new one.

What happened to your bucket and how many hours when it was bent? Oh yeah.........what model Mahindra?
