Not to get side tracked and maybe I'm just not understanding the statement, buy why would you even consider a FEL to do road maintenance???:confused3: That's why you have a 3pt hitch and there are several implements to use that are by far quicker, easier and simply better all around for that type of work.
Right now it comes down to affordability. Down the road I might have some coin to play with for implements and maybe even a backhoe, but right now I'm stretching myself pretty thin with just the tractor and FEL. Snow removal and landscaping (my house is a new-construction, and there is dirt work a-plenty to be done) will be the main priorities in the short term.
Thanks for everyone's input—and I hope I don't get chastised here on the Mahindra forum for going with a different brand—but I pulled the trigger on a Yanmar LX410 earlier this week. It fit my needs the best, the dealer was local, and they made me an offer I couldn't refuse!
