I have been on both equivalent (if that is possible) NH and Deere (not the two sizes you spoke of) and I came away with a distinct feeling which was best.
One was a bit stronger in lift capacity, but slower (larger cylinder size I suspect).
The other was at a speed I could enjoy, and still lifted enough to make the rear end light.
I used both extensively, and just couldn't get used to the slower moving FEL lift.
So, I too would advise running both before deciding. Lift capacity alone isn't the whole story here.
