I know it was Easter Sunday, but I did log a few more hours on the tractor today. Wife says I am acting like the kids at Christmas. I actually am looking forward to these dusty grading jobs now. I will post more pics later in the week of the tractor with the Harley Rake in action.

You will love this tractor! The only thing I see missing is maybe a reversable cutting edge. Do you have any plans on getting one? I think they are great, especially if you are going to be doing any scraping on asphalt at all. Why wear your bucket out?

That's a good point JasonMac. I very seldom use it on anything other than dirt (grading new home construction), but it would save on the wear and tear of the bucket.

Where is the control for the grapple? Does it have a switch on the joystick or what? What all has to be added for the grapple valve?

The control for the grapple is 3rd SCV lever( to the left of the 3pt hitch lever). The hydraulic lines are hooked up in the back and run to the front of the loader. Whenever I get a grapple, I will look at what it takes to get another joystick that has a button for the grapple. Then I could control the loader and the grapple with one hand and joystick. For now, the 3rd SCV lever will have to do.

Yes that is the factory JD DSCV and 3rd valve setup.

ddivinia, would you happen to have a picture of your joystick setup? Mine is the factory set-up. So many gadgets and things to add. My next purchase will be a grapple. My wife just keeps shaking her head. I see a new vehicle purchase just around the corner.

WOW /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif If I continue to see purchases like this (cab models), I'm going to be forced to buy again and I'm confident the wife will shoot me and ask questions later. Enjoy the machine, it's GOT TO BE AWESOME and I'm sure many on this site would love to experience that type of machine and power.
