smitty, i just got a 3520 with 300cx loader and love it. but it seems like a toy after looking at your (excellent) pics. my 3520 is overkill but i cant help but wish it was bigger with more buttons/switches now. that is a perfect CUT. sweeeeet.

Sorry for the delay. Here is a pic from the JD web site - this joystick rocks. It makes using a grapple bucket much faster and reduces arm movement, etc.

MidGALandscaper,

I just got my 3520 cab with 300cx and grapple bucket yesterday. The SCV is laid out like yours. The two grapples open and close one at a time for those that want to know. A single joystick control would be nice, but unless you use the bucket all day, day in and day out, you can live with the current controller for occasional use. The grapple bucket has a label on it saying it weighs 590 lbs. I almost tipped over today moving a bucket of mulch. I would feel more comfortable with ballast of some sort on the back. IMHO, its not a bucket you would want to have on when mowing the lawn. Maybe on a 4720 it wouldn't feel so awkward being out there.

I bought the grapple for the specific purpose of picking up large tree branches, and for that task I'm thinking a ballast box would be on order.

Midgalandscaper. If I could bother you to provide me with a close up of your top cylinder hanger I would appreciate it. I just ordered my T&T for my 3720 open cab. I am trying to get as many pictures as I can to simply installation. My current 3rd scv is mounted to the right rear fender. I also have a 4in1 bucket on my machine and the switch is located on the joy stick. Makes operation a snap. Also I would like to have some information on your harley power rake. I saw the web video the other day and I am considering getting one. Does it work as well as the video shows? Your machine is great. Enjoy

Are you running anything on the back when you are using your FEL? Put something on there - a boxblade, mower, etc. - makes a huge difference.

Having all the controls on the joystick is awesome - it saves me a lot of time as much as I use it.
