48 or 60" Grading Scraper/Land Plane for GC2300? Can both crown the driveway?

I suppose how high you want the center but most tractors have an adjustment on their 3 ph and you should be able to raise one side so your land plane is on an angle and I do
believe that would help with the crown on our tractor I can only raise 2 inches but you can always get a different adjustable bar for
your tractor with a greater adjustment capabilities

Willy - the LPGS is not designed to create a crown. Crown is created by the tilt and angle of a rear blade. There are also more expensive implements to do this.

To create a crown - you move material from the edges to the center of the driveway. Or you simply rip everything up and restructure. Or some sort of combination of these two actions.

The LPGS does an amazing job of smoothing out a driveway. However - it does not move material horizontally. Horizontal movement of material is necessary to create a crown. The LPGS creates vertical movement. Lifts it up and lays it back down - very smoothly.

A crown could be started by laying new material right down the center of the driveway.

When I use my LPGS I always use the scarifiers on the area to be repaired - first. This ensures that the top material will incorporate with the deeper material. Also make it easier for the LPGS to do its work. My mile long, gravel driveway is hard as 30 year old concrete in the summer.
