Have you even talked to the dealer? He might have some suggestions.

The torch idea would probably be the easiest, but I dont have much experience cutting with torches. I think Ill start with a hack saw since its the eaisest to control, Ill go from there Ill let you know how I make out.
On a side note, my dealer told me since Im so far away, if I end up having to cut it off to send them a picture of the cut part, they will order a new one and ship it to me (under warranty) Which I thought was good on their part.

It sounds like he has a good dealer, just too far away.

My dealer has been nothing but helpful from the minute I picked up the tractor, helped me with a starting issue (loose connection) and now this, he let me speak with his head technician and the tech said he would probably just end up cutting it off cleaning up the shaft and installing the new part. When I told him I just didnt have the time to bring the tractor in, thats when he said he would send me the new part if I cut it off myself. He has sent his tech over 2 hours before to fix the first issue, I dont expect that again.

Good deal sounds like you got a good plan figured out. Im doing the same with my 1540 I have a bearing in the rear case going out for 4wd... but I cant afford downtime... so its 2wd work mostly and 4wd only when really needed until winter

Well I ended up cutting the sleeve for the 4wd lever, I ended up using my 12v oscillating tool, burnt through two blades, but didnt damage the shaft or the gear lever which was right up against the one i was cutting.
Called dealer and he has a new one on the way, I will be installing a zerk in this one before install, I will post all the pictures once I have it reinstalled.

Thanks for all the replies

I have the same problem on my eMax 22 HST. I'm stuck in 4wd and the lever won't budge. The pictures would certainly help.

You can try soaking it with PB Blaster or something similar, see if it frees up and keep it lubed on a regular basis or There is an updated lever with bushing to help this not happen again.
