I use a 4’ Southern Boxblade on my 1723e and it’s all it wants when loaded up in low 4wd.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I think you and others have convinced me to stick with a 4'. I am not in a hurry and I don't have a lot of land right now so if it takes more pass, I don't mind. I just don't want to get stuck. The dealer where I inquired about box blades also told me to not got above 4'.

Seems as though your 24.5HP tractor could certainly pull a 5' scrape blade.

I was saving the extra ~125 bucks :D It would be better to have the 5-footer so that my tire marks don't overlap the scraped width!
