My tiller measures about 4.5' and my tractor can handle the load without much difficulty. My garden plot has been in use for MANY yrs but all the rain in the winter compacts it considerably. Can run in 2nd or 3rd gear low range. Creeper range is not even a consideration. Soil will make all the diff in the world. Seem to remember running a tiller through the garden MANY yrs ago, with either a 4' or 5' behind a MF 165D. As deep as I was going this 50+ HP tractor was working hard.
As for weight, don't know but I did lift my tiller out of the bed of my Nissan pickup using a chain off the FEL. Almost didin't have enough lift to get over the side walls of the bed.
How much they asking for the 5' tiller and what kind of condition? My tiller was in VG condition with only a few minor cosmetic dings. Was so quiet the first time I used it I had to look to see if it was turning. Tines still had most of the original paint on them. Paid $600
