50 dollar brush hog craigslist find

Bought it a couple months ago and just got around to using it. its a little light to power itself through the heavy stuff but with some sand bags on the back of the golf cart towing it, it can clear some heavy brush. Already cleared about an acre with it. Spindles are holding up great. Sorry you guys missed out on this score

Chris...see if this works....I copied the URL of a still....all he did was get a garden tractor with mower deck for $50 and is dangerously misusing it as a bush hog...

It isn't the best idea because it is possible to become complacent and lose a foot. As far as bees go, I can outrun them on my golfcart because I gps'ed it at 16mph. Just need another days worth of work out of it and I will just upkeep the areas with my lx172. Shouldn't take but a few mows for it to start tuning into a nice weedy grass material.

How interesting.. Ok. a couple of things. shortthrow50,. so you are bigmike50 now? And why are you pulling the old lawn tractor in Neutral with a golf cart when the drive of the lawn tractor looks like it works to me. (wheel spin at :10 seconds and before)

Because as it hits anything heavy, it is not heavy enough to propel through thick brush.neven with me on it and I weigh 235 pounds. The golfcart weighs over 1000 pounds with the sand bags. While that old tractor doesn't weigh anymore than 300 pounds. Golf cart plows through any type of brush and works wonders with the mower in tow

How does it not stall out going through that thick stuff?? My mower chokes out on tall grass, but i guess its only a 10hp and i am cutting pretty close.
