given your location, think you made good choices on hydro & engine oil types. did you go with 80/90 GL5 in ft axle/hub. probably okay on that, i went with it too.
lots of discussions on break in before synthetic, etc, but i wouldn't worry unless there's noteworthy engine oil consumption (rings not fully seated, etc) then go back to rotella dyno 15/40 for a few changes.
i also agree with the 100 hr/ or annual change. and filter every time. u done good

With the high compression of a diesel, I would say the rings are definitely seated at 50 hrs.

On big diesel engines such as 600 HP C-15 CATs using synthetic oil, I have seen final break-in occur in the 15k to 30K mile range or roughly 300 to 500 hours
