Strez, and all TBNers, I use a large pair of channel lock pliers that I bought from Snap-on on the hyd. filter on all TCs. I use regular oil filter wrenches where I can, but if my wrenches are not big enough or I can't swing them, I use the pliers. On the hyd filters I usually end up grabbing the filter from the end rather than the side, and I am still able to get a grip to turn them. Hope this helps.
