I went by the temperatures set forth in the manual and for what I do and how cold it gets here standard UDT works just fine. If I was in the mountains or more north I would have gone with the extra SUDT. My tractor rarely works excessively hard and it is kept in a heated garage during the winter so having the fluid be "too Cool" is just not an issue for me.
As far as changing the fuel filter I can see in the bowl that it is clean. It is only on its 5th tankful with 52 hours on it and the fuel is run through an industrial 15 and 5 micron filter before it gets near the tank so it should be just fine for a long time.
The loader gets greased a little over 10hrs of operation as it does not do that much work normally.
All the bolts, pins, and linkages get a heavy coating of WD-40 to prevent rust and make removal easy.
