50 Hr service, I hate to complain, BUT!!

All the hydraulics seem to be working fine so I am going to go ahead and not drain the hst just to clean the screen. There were some fines in the pan when I drained it during the 50 hr. I did change the filter so I think (hope) I'll be OK.

I changed the hyrdo oil and filter on by B7500 at about 100 hours. I could not find the filter screen on mine. I subsequently found out from someone here that there was a second filter on the other side and that's where the screen was.

I have about 250 hours on it now and have not had a problem. I'll change the hyro again at 300 hours and will clean that screen then.

Point of this is that you shouldn't have any problems with the fact that the screen did not get cleaned.

I think you were right to walk out when they quoted you $179. That was the aprox price I got when they did the 50hr service on my much larger 3010 in Feb with everything including air filter and Super UTD hydro fluid. In general I have been very happy with Burke but there have been times when I've talked to people over there and gotten a serious run around. Best to find a contact you trust and only deal with him. Mine use to be Andy in the Camden store but he's since moved to their Newark location.

Hi Folks,

Glad to see I'm not the only one to forget about cleaning the screen. Got all my "Liquid Gold" super UDT back in and then remembered the screen... I thought I read in my book that the screen does not need to to cleaned until the 300 hr. service for a BX22. I could be wrong though. Dave...

Just in case anyone is still reading this thread, I got held up
for $400 by a local dealer on the complete 50 hr service..
Seems a little steep according to the info around here,
as they say. "buyer beware" sevice or product..
