Jd 5045 E keeps blowing 30A key switch fuse, I saw some other posts about disconnecting temp sensor aka cold advance switch in the thermostat housing but this tractor doesn't have a cold advance switch there.

Anyone know if they put it somewhere else?

Tractor is sitting in a field in Texas, just trying to get it started and back to the barn where tools are.

Thank you in advance

I'll bet your tractor has a cold start relay somewhere. What is your tractors serial range? Example 143xxx or 129xxx

You must have a common rail system and it probably doesn't use a cold start circuit. They have other means of monitoring and dealing with temperature changes. If you're blowing fuses the problem could be most anywhere.

Put a lightbulb in the place of the fuse that blows. The light will act as a fuse until you locate the grounded wire in the circuit. Then start moving wires around and unplugging or disconnecting things until you hopefully find the culprit (light goes out).
Has been a fuse-saver for me several times.
