My dealer emailed me today. The H260 with 5 series carrier just came in. He has the shop putting it all together. I don't have a deliver date yet, but I am hoping by the weekend.

what was final price?

That looks pretty good. I'd talk to them about installing and programing the Power Modulator. I like mine and it was only $100. It makes the forward/reverse shifting really soft or neck snapping.
Think really hard about a grapple from AG Equipment in Brenham. I really, really, like mine. Your dealer should sell you one for about 2 grand with another grand to install the valve, hoses, and switch.
You're going to enjoy your 93 and will like having a Tier 3 machine instead of a T4.

They are installing the power modulator. I have it on my 5525, I'll know if it is working.

I have a JD Grapple bucket on my 5525 with the 3rd valve. I figured one tractor setup with that would be enough.

Your right about the tier 3. This tractor will be used for moving round bales, cutting hay, raking hay, mowing, etc.

Your 93 will flip round bales with both the front loader and rear spear like they were made from Styrofoam. Mine lifted 1300 pound bales to max lift height at an idle with the a/c running and didn't even think about complaining.

I think I am going to be pleased. I wish it had the electronic hitch like my 5525 but oh well. For lots of 3 point stuff I'll just use the 5525.

1300lb round bales are light.wonder how it would lift a 5 by 6 1800 to 2000lb bale.i talked to a lady that says her 5525 jd grunts lifting a 1300lb bale on the loader.

The H260 loader will lift over 3,000 pounds so 5x6's would not be a problem. I was using the 1,300 figure at an idle as an example of how easy it'll move anything you wanted it to move.

Tool box?

Tool box?

Comes with one mounted in a stupid place that makes it impossible to add fuel with anything other than a true nozzle from a pump. I took mine off after dumping most of a 6 gallon can on the ground trying to get diesel in the tank. The 93 is a great tractor but no designer ever tried to put fuel in one. If they had the tool box would be somewhere else. It's bad.

There is just no good way to put a toolbox on these. I have a 5520 open station and the choices are even worse than yours.

I have a 5525 with a 542 SL loader. It is a good loader. 2000lbs is not a problem. The 5525 could be configured with a number of different loaders - so it is hard to say. I cleared 100s of cedars with mine and have really used the heck out of the loader. I would not call it weak. It will not pick up a complete pallet of concrete, but oh well.

I have the H260 loader on my 5M and I like it. I just have the standard hook and pin attachment but it works fine for me. The bucket or hay spike come off and on without a problem.

I took my toolbox off too. Got a tool bag from Sears and keep it in the cab next to the seat.

The standard hook and pin is the 5 series setup. I already have stuff for a 5 series or I would go skid steer.
