Buying Advice 50HP Kubota - high hours/rough shape - what痴 a fair price?

I see a steady stream of municipal non-loader tractors at auction that are well maintained and affordable. Because the average Joe doesn't want to deal with getting a FEL. To me, that is a no brainer.

Loaders to match/fit specific tractors can sometimes be difficult to find.

Most times actually unless you go aftermarket like Great Bend.

Or Horst, FREY, ALO. I think there are a bunch. Nicer to get an old one for an old tractor though. Maybe fire damaged would be good. Just bolt it on and pretend that it works. lol Like you used to do as a kid getting on a piece of construction equipment.

Call Countryside Sales and Service in Ohio and ask the price of a rebuild kit from Kubota. I recently rebuilt mine and the kit was only $1300ish for pistons, bearings, seals, gaskets.

That way you'll have some idea about that part of the repairs.

I saw some insane video of a JD 2040? tractor being recovered from a stream. In there for a few years maybe, beat to crap and the guy (expert) was talking about rebuilding it for a few hundred dollars!!!!!!
