Wow, that is really cheap, I figured about $300 for the part (gotta pay for the name behind it, lol.)

Nice tractor, enjoy. I would talk to the dealer though about getting a spare tire the same color as the tractor, the orange clashes.

I called my dealer and was quoted $317.00 for the modulator, ouch for the price but would be worth it especially in the higher gears where it can really give you a jolt when switching.

Do you know what the modulator cost? I hope that the fact I bought so much worth of extras that they could throw in free programming.

The field install kit costs $144. It consists of a variable resistor, a nut to fit it to the dash, a knob and a decal. Not difficult to install and grossly overpriced. I agree that they should program it free just because of the money that you have already spent there. It tames down direction changes quite well. I don't understand why it isn't standard, especially on the M.

So I told him the price quoted on here and he matched it but I have to pay for the service call $130 for the call and $2/km.

I agree it should be standard equipment on the M series, just like the fuel tank armor kit, one part of the tank has protection but you have to pay for the rest of the tanks protection.
