TCowner, Did not know they made such a thing, so I went and looked up the parts...sure enough you are right.
Do you happen to have a picture of this? Those parking stands are quite a ways off the ground.
The wheel kits don't look high enough.

The gauge wheel kits are adjustable but really don't serve as parking stands. To get the right amount of contact with the ground to be effective at sweeping, the brushes are of course touching the ground. If you let the broom rest on the brushes when parked they do get a "memory" and develop a flat spot. So whenever I park my sweeper either while still attached to the tractor or for storage I just place a 2x8 scrap piece of lumber under all 4 wheels to keep the brushes off the floor. They gauge wheel kit is rather spendy but they help considerably in helping keeping the broom from becoming too aggressive. I will see if I can get some picture tonight.

I think I can get by without the pictures.
I looked at the kit and looked at my broom. I think I get how that would hook up.
I know the kit is expensive. But this looks like what I need to make my broom to work better to get stones out of the grass.
So when the dethatcher wheel kit is on, what happens to the other wheels? Remove them?

The other wheels stay on as well. The extra wheel kit just adds more ability to limit the broom from becoming too aggressive. They are not perfect and don't eliminate all "plowing" that you get this time of year. Its always a trick to get them set to be aggressive enough to do the job yet not so aggressive as to act like a rototiller.

Reading this topic with much interest, Do you have the PN for the extra wheel kit or link to diagram that shows it?
I can't find the 52" broom on John Deere Parts Catalog

Thanks!

EDIT: Never mind - I found it kit P/N is BM21853
