I usually buy a new set, and keep the unbent ones for spares the next time it happens. A set isn't that expensive not to have extras around.

Agree. I always have spares around. Every year when I take off the blades, any that have been resharpened too many times go in the trash. Others get sharpened again. I always have a set of three sharpened ones ready to go. When I get down to where I don't have enough for a full spare set, I buy a new set of three to add to the mix.
