I use an independent lift setup for this mower (54D) which utilizes one port of the loader bucket function. When the stick is actuated up, the mower slams up very hard. Is this normal? Discussions with my local dealer were not conclusive. We briefly discussed putting a restrictor in the independent lift cylinder line to slow the flow rate down. Is the very rapid raise par for the course for this tractor/mower setup? my basis for comparison is my 2305 with a 54C mower and the same independent lift setup. The mower raises at an acceptable rate.
