574 engine swap

I finally worn out the gas engine in my 574. Been toying with the idea of putting a diesel engine ( from another 574 or 674) in it's place. Anyone out there that who has done something like this? from what I can see, this should be very doable and there should be a small amount of changing certain parts. throttle linkage, maybe clutch, ignition switch, add stop cable for injector. I think the radiators are the same. Any thoughts?

And pipework back to tank will need loking at??

The exhaust that I have goes straight up thru the hood. Hate to replace the tractor as everything else is good. Rear tires have been replaced (hardly worn).
