6\' cutter question

I have a 3830 GST w/ FEL. It has 32 pto hp. I'd like to run a 6' cutter to cover the tire tracks, especially when the ground is wet. Will this tractor pull a 6' medium duty cutter? I'm mostly mowing pasture and between rows of pines ect. No real heavy brush. And while we at it...any recommendations for a new cutter? Thanks!

I have a 3430 HSTC and it handles a 6' brush mower and a 90" finish mower just fine. My brush mower is a BEFCO and I am very happy with it. It's even painted Kubota orange.

My L3830 has a BushHog brand "Squealer SQ720SC".
6 foot with slip clutch.

Any of the popular 6 foot medium duty cutters should be fine. The King Kutter is probably the most economical...
Mine was $1,200.

I have a 3830 and am running a Howse 6' rotary cutter. I would consider the Howse a light duty cutter and the 3830 has no trouble with it. The best thing is the cutter was only $595 brand new. I only cut pasture with it, no saplings or heavy brush.

I have a 3830 DT, 6' BUSH HOG Squealer SQ720SC with a slip clutch. I think this is the lightest duty BUSH HOG brand with a 6 ft cut. Mine has taken some pretty hard knocks without any trouble at all.
Before deciding on the Squealer I asked the manufacturer about a medium duty cutter for the 3830. The manufacturer said I might need weights on the front end to counter the wt of the cutter but that my tractor had enough power. I would say an FEL is adequate weight.
I've pushed the limits with mine and so far I have no regrets with the lighter model.
My dealer told me to separate the plates on the slip clutch once a year to prevent them from sticking. This keeps the "slip" in the clutch where it should be.
