What is the difference between a 60-1 chain (as used on my snow blower) and a 60H-1 chain? My blower has a 60-1 chain and I was wondering if the "H" was a heavier chain chain and if it would run on the same sprockets. I know the connecting link is not the same for both chains.

G'day 60h will run where your old chain did it (60h) has got heavier side plates and i think from memory slightly heavier pins but the pitch and roller size is the same.

In some applications the wider links of the 60H chain cause clearance problems when replacing 60 chain. Check clearances between sprockets and supports, frames, etc. before converting. 60 offset and connector links will not work on 60H chain.
