You could be right. I was only able to find one site that listed blades specifically for the RCK60-24B at $28.00 but they don't tell you whether it's for one or for a set. I also thought I remembered Carver's selling them last fall for about $80.00 a set so I didn't give it another thought. Might be that CRS kicking in again. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I guess it's time to break down and call my local Kubota dealer and see what they have to say. I do so much more enjoy buying things while comfortably seated at my computer though.

My two local Sears have absolutely the worst inventory of sockets. They have nothing that even approaches the size I need to get the blades off in either impact or non impact.

I picked up a set of blades from my dealer two weeks ago. The total cost was $37.11 for three blades.

I sent an e-mail to www.tractorsmart.com, and got this back, plus $5 for shipping.

You would need (3) K5371-34330 blades at $13.55 each.

Will call local dealer on Monday and see what they get. I have ordered several things from tractosmart, good service no problem.

I'm guessing you meant that response for me. Tractorsmart was the only web site, which I referred to in my last post, that specifically listed the blade for my mower (the RCK60-24B) for $28.75. They don't say whether that's for a set or for each blade. The part number you listed fits the RCK60-B22BX, which must fit the BX 60 inch deck, and they list a price of $13.55. At that price I would have assumed that it's $13.55 each. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I guess some of us ( well at least I did /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif) were thinking you had a 60 inch deck for a BX2200.

The more I think about it, and I don't think often, I keep a thinking that Carver's price was for mutiple sets of blades,
I did double check my invoice and it's what I said before, around $32 for a SET of blades. It also and $10 per blade too listed on the unit column.

It can take an aweful lot sometimes, but you have jogged my memory. I seem to remember wondering why would I want 3 sets of blades when I saw Carver's sale. Thanks! I'm gonna head up to my local dealer some time this week to get a set and hopefully they will take my used UDT also. Conveniently, a discount tool place is on the way where I might be able to find a 30mm impact socket to remove the old ones.

I picked up a 30mm socket for around $8 at NAPA, they are pretty common and used to remove wheel nuts. They also have some that cost a lot more cash. I found the socket at several places and they were all for an 1/2" socket set. I had a harder time finding an elcheapo 1/2" breaker bar but eventually did at a local auto parts store for around $15, all the others were either out or $25-44.
