'M trying to find parts for my mowing deck and a search of the JD site with my serial number didn't turn up anything. Is there a way I can trace my serial number to find out what it may have evolved into or is there another way I can search for parts. IMHO the JD parts site is a pain in the arse!

the beginning digits on your serial number tell the model number. "m02362" is a 62D deck for a 2320,
"m02562" is the 62d for the 2520,, etc. once you have that it is a little easier to look up parts...

That did help, it matched up with my deck, for my 2520. Looking for a replacement front roller wheel

According to the parts look up, the center front rollers are - M113955 (requires 2)
The outer gauge wheels for decks up to 040000 are- AM107558
and for decks from 040001 and up they are -AM136720
