Re: 62\" ON RAMP DECK TROUBLE

Excuse me for jumping in here but, doesn't your tractor carry your deck and the wheels only prevent scalping???

If so, then you may have these wheels set too low???

If not, sorry I interrupted the discussion.

Re: 62\" ON RAMP DECK TROUBLE

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate method of setting the wheel adjustment, but mine are significantly above the bottom of the deck. This way when the deck needs to lift as I go around tree mounds (I have an otherwise flat property) the wheel barely hits the ground before the deck does.

Re: 62\" ON RAMP DECK TROUBLE

I to have mine set higher than the deck also. They are only to prevent scalping and not for the deck to ride on. Mine are pinned at the 6th hole.

Good Luck!

Re: 62\" ON RAMP DECK TROUBLE

I was reading other threads on this subject and someone mentioned that the front bracket that holds the deck should swing freely to help with the wheel problem, do others agree?
