Another thing that might help is to use a dc current clamp meter that you can check the various leads with to help find the one that is drawing too much current.

I can't be sure of the problem, but I have seen several of the temperature sensor in the thermostat housing short out after engine warms up. All is well while engine is cool, but the sensor shorts out when warmed up. The part number is RE503243. #2 in diagram

It was the temperature sensor in the thermostat housing.

I found this out a week or so ago after I called my uncle who has a 6210 and had the EXACT same problem with his several years back.

When it got warm, everything shut down and the 30 amp fuse was blown. He also repaired one on the side of the road blocking traffic that had done the same thing a few months later. :D

They had to figure it out the hard way I assume. I got out easy and just picked up the phone!

There's your fix fellers. It's the upper sensor in the thermostat housing. It's got heavier wires coming off it in a 3" pigtail. We just unplugged them and no problems since.
