Thanks to all that responded with suggestions on my problem. I replaced the battery today and wu-la it works just fine, the whole problem was a dead battery. I guess i could have charged it but since it was 3 years plus and such a pain to get in and out, just got a new one. Again thanks to you guys. chuck
