The 702C blade came in 3 widths, 60in, 78in, and 84in. Mine is the 78in, which is what New Holland recommends for the TC25, TC29, TC33, and TC30. The blade is at least 6 inches wider than the tractor when angled the full 30 degrees.

Steering can be compromised depending on how much 'down pressure' you apply to the blade. I can lift the front wheels a few inches off the ground if I want to really dig in. But, most of the time, I use the float setting, so there is little or no 'unweighting' of the front tires.

I think my next project is to paint the whole assembly come spring. The blade will get a nice glossy black and the rest will be New Holland blue. I'm also going to paint the trip springs blue. I painted the shock springs on my Yamaha Grizzly ATV. For some strange reason, I really like brightly colored springs.

Just an FYI on the metric bolts - McMaster Carr is the ultimate hardware store. Shipping can be fast depending on where their closest distribution center is (I get stuff in MA from NJ in 1 day).

Hazmat is right, I just received a box of 5mm screws the day after ordering from McMaster's. My first order they had one of their employees drive to our home the very same day that I placed the order. It doesn't get much better than that. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
