I measured the clearance last night and there's 8" to 12" between the loader upright and the loader controls.

I went to the dealer yesterday to look at one and as my luck would have it they didn't have any Boomers with loaders in stock. They sold their last one yesterday. So, I'll have to wait until they get one in before I can see one for myself. From what people are saying here, it doesn't seem practical to use the right side to get on and off, but the salesman at the dealer said he didn't think it was a problem at all. Of course, he's trying to sell a loader!

I have a 7308 on my 1725. No problems other than the fast dump sometimes not dumping fast. Anyone know why? I've lifted the rear end while carrying an Ash log with a chain hooked to the loader bucket (that gets your attention fast). Loam, rocks, firewood, logs, bark mulch, blue stone, hasn't hesitated yet.

P.C.

Danny -

I can pick up a full load of dirt with the 66" HD bucket with my Woods 1012 Loader on my TC 33D. No problems with hitting the lift capacity limit. I'm not sure how a load of wet clay (for example) would work... haven't had to do that yet.

I can get on and off the right side with a few contortions around the loader controls... not easy, but sometimes I have no choice when I'm working on tight trails. I think it looks a bit easier to do on the NH loader control, but I've not tried it (or if I did try it at the dealer, I don't remember).

Danny, sorry it took so long to respond. As others have mentioned, it really doesn't matter much if the loader is on or not. If you want, you can check out my setup; I'm in Lebanon, about 30 minutes northwest of downtown Indy.

CGranat, Thanks. I may take you up on that offer. My in-laws live in Demotte, so we go right past Lebanon on I-65 when we go visit. So, the next time I get dragged up there, err I mean, have the pleasure of visiting the in-laws, I could stop by.

While I was picking up rocks and dumping them in the FEL bucket in my newly disced field, I had reason to exit my TC25D from both sides. My technique for the right side was to place my left hand on the loader upright, right hand on the hand hold on the fender, then swing my legs through and hop off the tractor. This was much easier to do than explain, sorry no pictures....ever. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif Getting back on from the right wasn't much harder than from the left, as long as I didn't get my shoe caught in the HST treadle as I pivoted to sit down.

I finally got a chance to check one out for myself. My dealer (in Seymour, IN) had one when I was there on Friday. To my surprise, it wasn’t bad at all to get off the right side. Getting on was a bit harder though. There’s no room for my foot to pivot around after I get on and sit down, so I have to pick my foot up and get it past the brake pedals.

Just remember that just because the hydraulics will pick up that much weight. It is not always the safest thing to do. More than one compact tractor operator has found themselves with a tweaked FEL frame, flat front tire, or worse their pride and joy lying on its side, possibly with someone under it.
