7500 vs 2410

I pretty much agree with TresCrows...except I apply the same logic to the B2910. Now I don't know about the MMM on the 2910 as to how it might compare to the one on the 2410...

One thing I do know is the more time you get under your belt on your tractor the smaller it gets. I had actually agreed to buy a B2410, and made a last minute decision to go with the B2910. The price was so close... I could get more tractor, more backhoe, more ground clearance...

I bought a 60" RFM and did not find it to be the right size for that tractor and my needs. 72" would have been better. That, and building a new shed for the tractor set off a chain of events that ended up with me trading the RFM in on a BX2200...or more correctly, trading it in on a MMM with a bx2200 connected to it.

So that put my back into the middle of TresCrows' post...the next logical step is to trade the b2910 in on a L3830! Won't happen though as the b2910 is perfect for my 3.7 acres...and after putting a couple hundred hours on it in the first year...it really is about the same size as a b2410!

Best move I ever made was going for the B2910...at $2,000 over the price of a similar B2410/loader/backhoe.

Have also been deciding betwen 7500 and 2410. I have ridden the 7800 and decided it was too big of a tractor for my purposes..... too tall, too wide, too long. Have also ridden the 7500 and it seems just right for size but doesn't have as much FEL capability as I would like. I haven't found a dealer that has a 2410 so I would appreciate any of you that have ridden both the 7500 and 2410, if you would comment on how much bigger the tractor is . Like I said, the 7800 and 2710 and 2910 just feel too big for manauevering around the trees, making trails, etc...... would love to know where the 2410 fits into the swing of things?
Thanks Rick

Rick: i have a b2400(predessor to b2410) i have 9 acres and for me it is just fine. before i bought it i looked at the 7500 but just liked the b2400 a tad better. not really that much larger, but does have a few things the b7500 does not. u alredy know u don't want the larger machines so u are down to the 7500 or the 2410 correct? go with the 2410, a few $$$ more but you not have to 2nd guess youself. MHO

Rick, the 7500 and the 2410 are essentially the same size. The 2410 is very slightly heavier, they are about the same width and have the same wheelbase. The 3-point capacity, FEL capacity etc as mentioned earlier are better on the 2410 and Position Control is a nice addition. I had a 7500 at my place for a few days before I bought a BX and then sometime later I also bought a 2410. The BX, 7500 and 2410 are each a slight step up. Yes, I can tell the 2410 has more grunt. It is Kubotas most powerful really small tractor. I cannot say it is what you need but if you get a good price on one I am sure you would like it. J

The 7500 and the 2410 are very similar. For my needs the 7500 was the best fit. As mentioned earlier the 2410 does have Position control, would be nice for box scraping but for bush hogging I have zero problems without it I guess you don't miss what you don't have. The 2410 does have 3 more horses however I doubt you will notice any significant difference in overall power. I do think the 2410's seat is far superior to the 7500's. Both tractors will fit your needs choose the one you like the best and can get the best deal on.
May just depend what the dealers in your area have on the lot.
