755 hard to start, won't idle

jd110 is correct. Thanks. After changing fuel filters the first two points were always sufficient for bleeding so I never had to bleed at the injectors and forgot the engine does need to turn for those. However, the solenoid issue still needs to be fixed first or the engine will never run.

Got It! I found a non-OEM fuse/holder that was added (by the previous owner?) under the wire harness.....found the fuse had fallen out....replaced the fuse and installed a new cap, secured it.....Tractor now starts and runs like it used to.....Solenoid pulls in and STAYS in now.....thanks guys for all your help! Now a new post to figure out the leaking steering ram and bad idle....lol.

Great news! I felt all along if the solenoid power problem could be fixed then all would be well. Good luck on the other issues, and have fun!

My 855 had/has similar solenoid problem.

When I bought it, the solenoid was stuck so it only ran crappy!
The previous owner thought it was totaled.

Now the solenoid works but, it doesn't slam forward when I turn off the key.
Instead it goes 80% forward and causes the engine to run really crappy (totaled ).

I fixed it with some rubber bands but they got old and broke off.

Now I just push the solenoid forward with my fingers to kill it.
