At least that is what I think it is.
I've got 110 hours on the 7610. I have a problem with the engine cutting off only when mowing (mmm).
I cannot reproduce the problem with the engine running at idle or running back and forth with the mower disengaged. it will only happen when mowing.
It is an on/off situation. Plenty of power..... never bogs down...... never drops rpm except when it seems like it shuts off. It always starts right back up with no trouble. Sometimes it will go on and off a couple of times in a minute and other times 30 minutes without it happening.
Thinking it is a fuel problem I changed the fuel filter which was the first time since new.... it was cruddy...... did not make a difference (except now I have a drip drip form the seam where the filter screws in....... is there a rubber gasket I lost in the process?)
I'm convinced that somewhere one of the safety switches is not adjusted properly or malfunctioning....... I'm convinced the fuel shutoff valve is being told to shut off.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance....... I know someone is going to identify the problem...... or it will be a longgggg trip to the dealer.
